Jacquelyn Cato

MY STORY…………

Hey, it’s your girl Jacquelyn Cato-MSW/Broker & CEO of Q-Riculum

I remember 20 years ago, after being newly licensed and divorced, going to the grocery store. I had very limited cash and coins in my purse. I remember telling my boys who were both small to go get pizza so that I could have enough time to pay the cashier with all of the one dollar bills and coins that I had in my purse. I said to myself that day under my breath…”I will never be broke another day in my life” and I meant that!!!!! I was not clear what my plan was, but I knew I had enough inner motivation to figure it out.

From that point I met an Agent that agreed to mentor me. I rolled up my sleeves, while realizing we were in one of the most saturated markets, and committed myself to learn everything that I could about the Assisted Living Niche’.

Now 20 years later, after raising 2 kids on a 6 figure yearly income, (on target to reach 7 figures this year), working little to no weekends, taking yearly vacations to Hawaii (our favorite place), Puerto Rico for spring breaks, and having the opportunity as a Mom to attend every school event, field trip, parent meeting and most importantly having enough time to spend time with Myself. What was equally most important by working in this Niche,’ I was able as a single Mom to achieve a debt free life just because I took the leap to specialize in the Assisted Living Niche’!

What Will I Learn In This Course?

If you are tired of working long weekends, putting up door hangers, cold calling strangers, working with non committed buyers, not spending quality time with your family and not enjoying Real Estate? Watch This Video!

What Agents Are Saying About the Mini Listing Agent Assisted Living Course…..
Clients Love Us

My wife and I appreciate Jacquelyn's patience, professionalism and guidance throughout the selling process of our assisted care facility. She was very responsive whenever we had questions. Her knowledge and experience with assisted care facilities was definitely an asset in making the transaction successful. We had two potential buyers back out of escrow, for personal reasons that wouldn't have prevented the sale. Each time, Jacquelyn patiently worked with us until she finall...

We spoke with Jacquelyn and then met with her to sell 3 of our care homes. She spent hours answering our questions, providing objective data regarding how many care homes she has sold, how long their listings typically stay on the mar-ket, and providing tons of info on facilities that have sold in the area. Jacquelyn made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other Realtors don't (but should), like providing us with staging tips, having professional photograph...

Me and my Wife had always desired to purchase an assisted living facility but had no idea where to begin. Even though my wife was a R.N. we quickly dis-covered that purchasing a property and business appeared to be far fetched until we were referred to Jacquelyn Cato. She walked us through the process with patience and secured a 6 bed elderly facility for us that was within our price range and also made sure we had financing options given by several lenders who also underst...

Jacquelyn Cato was truly exceptional Broker who really knew her stuff when it comes to Assisted Living Facilities and knowledgeable with every aspect of Buying from A-Z. Jacquelyn will work with you to make your desires a reality. She was also very well versed at dealing with other real estate agents, who in my opinion lacked knowledge about the care home market and lacked the background expertise as to what’s required by state licensing to make it happen. Her cool, calm m...

Jacquelyn Cato proved to be a very well equipped, informative, and well seasoned Broker in the area of Assisted Living. I brought her on to list and sell my elderly care facility, and that she did! We were over impressed with her wisdom, knowledge and understanding of how the assisted living business flows in my particular market area, and her listing price was spot on for getting the job done! I highly recommend Jacquelyn whether you are listing or selling; you will not be ...

Jacquelyn Cato is truly a professional Broker from day one to the end of the transaction. She was very instrumental in listing and selling 2 of my ARF-Adult Care Homes in the Bay Area. Very knowledgeable regarding the Care Home Industry. Jacquelyn worked closely with her client and was always available to answer any questions or concerns. You will have that true feeling in trusting her the entire process. Her attention to detail, promptness, and never ending guidance is t...

Jacquelyn Cato was ALWAYS available for tours and telephone calls. Their responsiveness and attention to the buying process was incredible. If they didn’t pick up, they always call back no longer than 30 minutes later. They did an incredible amount of information gathering about the process, status of city and county inspections, and reviewing all the non-standard documents. The delivery of the information was straightforward: present the info and talk about pros/cons/strat...

Jacquelyn went well above and beyond in representing our interest as the Buyer of a prospective 12 Bed Elderly Care Facility. She did her homework, including walking through with the Fire Marshal to make sure the purchase was realistic for the purpose we intended to use it fo. Her negotiation skills, having had a lot of firsthand experience in the field, was top notch, Jacquelyn comes highly recommended.

It was an absolute pleasure and a breath of fresh air to work with a Broker who does “get it” when it comes to assisted living facilities. I used Jacquelyn to purchase an elderly care home approximately 15 years ago. I used her expertise again, to sell it so that I could semi retire. Attention to detail, integrity and knowledge of the assisted living business and industry are her strong points, and I highly recommend her.

I have met agents/brokers who have distinct specializations in the field, and some of the advantages are: they are always busy, they are sought out by sellers and buyers due to their specific expertise, and the income stream appears to be significantly higher, in most cases. The more specialized you are, the more valuable you become!
No cold calling is necessary, unless You choose to do so. There are no lockboxes or signs to have installed, nor any Open House tours to manage to attract Buyers. You will possess more possibilities to earn more than the average agent commission.

No-you do not need any medical or healthcare experience to benefit from this course. However, I recommend if you are currently not in the medical or healthcare field, that you enroll in the Initial Administrators Certification Course in your state that license care facilities to receive additional knowledge of what it takes to hold a license and how care homes operate under a state license. It would also be beneficial to tour facilities as well.

Yes — I suggest that agents who are under the supervision of a Broker, should discuss with their Broker PRIOR to signing up for the course. Yes — I strongly recommend that all agents attend the Initial Administrator Certification Course that is offered independently and ONLY use Approved Vendors that the state licensing department has sanctioned.
